ADHD Educational Lecture Series

Every Tuesday the DuPage ADHD Adult Support Group meets at DePaul University- Naperville Campus, 150 Warrenville Rd, Naperville from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Members travel from all over the Chicagoland area to learn to cope with having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as adults.

Featured on the first Tuesday of each month is a guest speaker, open to all visitors.

The stereotype of people with Attention Deficit Disorder is distracted and disorganized. However, the Naperville adult support group celebrated their 10th anniversary as an organized and highly functioning support group.

We have people travel over an hour to attend this educational series. We are one of the strongest and oldest ADHD Support Groups in the Nation. Our members regularly "graduate" as they learn the skills necessary to cope with their condition.

Western Springs resident Ruth Princess states, "I'm one of the alumni. I've been managing the speakers for years and have since become a professional speaker on motivation myself. ADHD groups closer to me have not lasted as long as the Naperville group."

Tuesday, April 3, 2012
7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
DePaul University- Naperville Campus
Intersection: Herrick Rd & Warrenville Rd
Naperville, IL 60563

The event is open to adults with or without ADHD. The trend for the past several guest speaker events has been a boss or spouse had told the person with ADHD that they need to attend. We believe however that the person without ADHD who recognizes the other persons difficulties should learn about the disorder and solutions as well. Please join us the first Tuesday night of the month for guest speakers or every Tuesday for support.

Your first visit is FREE. Subsequent meetings are only $1 donation.
