DuPage County's Back to School Fair for Low Income Children Set for Aug. 8

The first day of school is right around the corner.

Families living in DuPage County with low and reduced incomes have an opportunity to get their children prepared for the school year by attending the 22nd annual Back to School Fair, set from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 on the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 W. Manchester Road, Wheaton.

Coordinated by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet, the fair offers a one-stop-shop for families with children ages newborn to 18-years-old. School supplies, dental and vision screenings, legal needs, voter registration, haircut coupons, information on nutrition, and much more will be available at the event.

The fair is free but parents must bring proof of residency in DuPage County, identification for all family members and proof of family income.
