Washington Street Parking Spaces Removed to Improve Traffic Flow

Two parking spaces along Washington Street in downtown Naperville will be removed in an effort to ease rush-hour traffic, Chicago Tribune reports

Naperville City Council voted unanimously to remove the spaces, which are located on the west side of Washington Street, south of Benton in front of Rick Motta Barber Shop, 25 S. Washington St., according to the Chicago Tribune.

Good start. Now, get rid of the rest of the parking on Washington between 6 am and 8 pm, then traffic would actually flow.

Do they mean the east side of Washington? I am thinking of the barber shop on the corner. The barber shop owner may not appreciate it. The spaces that really need to go are on the east side of Washington just north of Chicago Ave. All things considered, Naperville is like a woman trying to fit a size-18 body into size 8 jeans.
