Voter Registration Deadline Looming; Early Voting on the Way

Those who need to register to vote in the April 5 election have until March 8. And, early voting begins on March 14.

If you are planning to vote in the city of Naperville’s April 5 consolidated election and are not registered vote, time is running out.

The last day to register to vote is March 8. After that registration will be closed from March 9 – April 6, according to the .

Registering to vote is required if you’ve moved within the county or changed your name. So, if you are new to DuPage County or you recently changed your name, either through a legal name change or marriage, you will need to register.

To register, two pieces of identification are needed one of which must be a photo ID and the other must include your current address.

Those who prefer to vote early can do so starting on March 14. Early voting will continue through March 31. According to the city of Naperville, early voting will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
