Packets may be picked up from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and are available at the desk of Jacki Stern, Executive Administrative Assistant/Local Election Official.

Four positions will be up for election on April 9, 2013 and newly elected commissioners will serve four-year terms. Bill Eagan, Gerry Heide, Mike Reilly and Kirsten Young's board positions will expire in April 2013.

Interested candidates must be 18 years old and a resident of the Naperville Park District for at least one year prior to the election date.

Potential candidates also have to present a minimum of 312 signatures—two percent of the 15,574 ballots cast in the last Park District election—to complete the Nonpartisan Petition for Nomination, according to the Naperville Park District. Signatures can be gathered now until the time of filing.

Official filing dates are Monday through Friday, Dec. 17 through 21 and Monday Dec. 24, 2012.
