The Parkview commuter parking lot is anticipated to remain closed for approximately the next two weeks.
This action is necessary due to underlying foundation issues that were discovered during the course of construction work this weekend. As a result, substantial reconstruction work is now required to ensure the integrity and safety of the lot’s driving surface and ensure long-term performance of the parking lot.
Commuters with hangtag permits for the Parkview lot may park in any of the other hangtag permit commuter parking lots, including the Burlington Lot at the southeast corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street and the Kroehler Lot at the northeast corner of 5th Avenue and Loomis Street.
A map of all commuter parking facilities is available to view at www.naperville.il.us/commuterparking.aspx.
If commuters arrive in the commuter lots and find that they are completely full, they should contact the Commuter Call Center for instructions on where to park. The Commuter Call Center can be reached at (630) 305-5330.
The Parkview parking lot is anticipated to reopen Monday, July 14, pending weather or unforeseen circumstances as work continues.
Please note that work continues on the 25 daily fee spaces in the north side of the Kroehler parking lot that currently remain closed for repair work. These spaces are anticipated to reopen by the Independence Day holiday weekend. The City apologizes for any inconvenience to commuters or motorists and thanks you for your patience as it works to provide a safe driving experience for all.
