Submitted by the city of Naperville

The Parkview parking lot located near the Naperville train station will close completely to traffic for major resurfacing work from 5 a.m. on Friday, June 27 through midnight on Sunday, June 29, pending weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Work on this lot is part of the City of Naperville’s 2014 Municipal Parking Lot Improvement Project that includes maintenance of 15 parking lots this year.

Commuters with hangtag permits for the Parkview lot may park in any of the other hangtag permit commuter parking lots, including the Burlington Lot at the southeast corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street and the Kroehler Lot at the northeast corner of 5th Avenue and Loomis Street.

A map of all commuter parking facilities is available to view at http://www.naperville.il.us/commuterparking.aspx.

If commuters arrive in the commuter lots and find that they are completely full, they should contact the Commuter Call Center for instructions on where to park. The Commuter Call Center can be reached at (630) 305-5330.The Parkview lot will be completely re-opened by Monday, June 30, pending unforeseen circumstances.

The Municipal Parking Lot Improvement Project includes maintenance that can range from minor work such as sidewalk replacement, curb and gutter replacement and patching to major repair work such as resurfacing and seal coating. The impacted lots are located throughout Naperville and work on all lots is anticipated to be completed by August 2014.
