New Website Provides Updates on West Nile Virus at Naperville Parks
Is the West Nile Virus risk level high at your local park? A new Naperville Park District website will provide you with that information.
A new Naperville Park District website will provide updates on the status of West Nile Virus at parks throughout the city.
The website has current information about findings of West Nile in specific parks and general precautions and background information from DuPage County about West Nile Virus and how to minimize exposure to mosquitoes.
"Similar to visiting the Weather Cancellations page on the District’s website, residents may check the West Nile Virus Status page at any time prior to visiting a park," according to a Naperville Park District press release.
As of Thursday morning, there were no positive reports of West Nile Virus at any Naperville Park District parks, according to the website.
