New Recycling Service Takes Over Naperville Pick-Up on June 1
Republic Services will be the City of Naperville's new curbside recycling collection service provider.
Effective June 1, Republic Services will be the City of Naperville’s new curbside recycling collection service provider.
Republic Services is the City’s current garbage collection provider. Resource Management will no longer be collecting recyclables left out as part of the curbside recycling program.
Residents may recycle the same types of materials they have in the past. A complete list of recyclable items is available atwww.naperville.il.us/curbsiderecycling.aspx.

If residents have questions or concerns about their recycling service, they should contact Republic Services at (630) 723-2800 starting June 1.
Residents should also note that two different trucks – one for recycling and one for garbage – will be collecting items left out for refuse and recycling collection.

The recycling trucks will not be the same color as the current white Resource Management trucks.
The names on the trucks collecting items may include Republic Services, Allied Waste or BFI. A different style of truck may be used that looks exactly like the trucks used for refuse collection; however, the trucks will only be collecting recycling and will not be co-mingling garbage and recyclables.
All recycling should be placed at the curb by 6 a.m. on your collection day.
Pick-up times throughout the day might vary slightly from what the public is used to due to the starting points of trucks and travel times.
Recyclables should be placed on the opposite side of a resident’s driveway from where garbage is located. Placing the material on separate sides of the driveway allows the recyclables to be easily distinguished from refuse.
