Naperville's 'Crown Jewel' Rededicated
City officials, employees and residents attended a rededication of the Naperville RIverwalk Friday afternoon.
The city celebrated the rehabilitation of Phase 1, Segment two of the Naperville Riverwalk and the Millennium Wall on Friday afternoon. Officials from the city, park district and Riverwalk Commission were in attendance along with local residents. Portions of the Riverwalk were renovated, including the Millennium Wall, which was was not structurally sound. The Riverwalk is considered the city's "Crown Jewel."
