Neighbors are invited to bring their families and friends to participate in a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and check out the new play equipment and landscaping.

The Harris Fawell Park address is officially listed as 1120 Fort Hill Drive; however, the most convenient way to access the playground is from the park entrance on Lakewood Circle.  Wildflower Park also has multiple entrances; the most direct way to access the playground is at 606 Azalea Court.

In the event of inclement weather, the playground celebrations will be rescheduled for the following day: Wednesday, July 16 at 5:00 p.m. for Harris Fawell and Wednesday, July 23 at 5:00 p.m. for Wildflower Park.

Residents can check the weather cancellations tab for the latest updates at http://www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations.

Playground designs were based on input from neighbors and include state-of-the-art play equipment, accessible to children of all abilities. Both playgrounds have separate play structures for 2-5 year-olds and 5-12 year-olds.

The Harris Fawell Park playground includes monkey bars and additional shade trees along the sidewalk connection to Cowlishaw Elementary School.  The Wildflower Park playground features a comet spinner and a 150-ft. trail segment to that connects the sidewalk to the loop trail at the park.
