Hector, You said it yourself: If you take warm-up breaks, those who shovel can go inside to warm up, as for Com Ed they seem to have compassion for their employees & give them warm-up breaks in a warm truck...I never said "Anything about staying home" Resource Management could had placed their crew in a better way & put 2 men on one truck, 1 drives for 30 minutes & one tosses totes & they switch (Common sense) One man on a truck getting in & out every house doesn't have a chance to warm up. Same with our poor mail carriers they have option to get in there mail truck & warm when needed, I don't know what you do but you did say you work outside also I can't name all who work outside but I was simply saying that companies are greedy, I have compassion for those & feel sorry for anyone that needs to be out in it. As for passing out business cards, why not I get to be in a warm car just like the Naperville officials .

Recycling trucks with arms will come later this year when Naperville ditches the bins to go with trash carts for recycling. This will reduce - but not eliminate the need to get out of the trucks

Thanks for that information Bob, it will defiantly be a step up.
