Naperville Mayor George Pradel will give the annual State of the City address next week at the Chicago Naperville Marriott.

Mayor A. George Pradel will highlight the events of 2012 and emphasize community groups’ commitment to working together at his 18th annual State of the City address next week.

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28 at the Chicago Naperville Marriott Hotel, 1801 N. Naper Blvd. The luncheon event hosted by the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by BMO Harris Bank will take place in the main ballroom on the west side of the hotel.

“Many remarkable events and success stories took place in Naperville in 2012, but they all had a common theme: community,” Mayor Pradel said in a release. “Every organization in Naperville works together for the betterment of the community as a whole, and this year, I really wanted to celebrate the relationships we have in Naperville and the efforts of all these different organizations. I have lots of good news to share, and I look forward to seeing as many people as possible at this event.”
