Understanding American Government And The 2012 Election
In 2012, citizens will be given the opportunity to vote for a President, Vice President, 435 congressmen and one third of all Senate seats. Understanding how our government works is critical. For many Americans it has been awhile since they studied how our government works. John Rose, adjunct faculty member at Benedictine University and with over 30 years of experience as a senior manager with the Government Accountability Office is here to help bridge that gap. This program aims to help you to better understand how federal, state and local government works, become more knowledgeable of current public policy issues and help to make a more informed decision regarding the upcoming election.
