Telecommunicator of the Year Recognized at Naperville Police Department

During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (April 11-16), Napervill will recognize a Telecommunicator of the Year.

The week was created to recognize telecommunicators for their efforts. The Naperville award recipient will be honored at a ceremony at the Communcations Center of the Naperville Police Department.

The festivities will include recognition of the renovation of the communciations center that involved upgrading the facility, 9-1-1 phone system, and radio consoles for both the Public Safety Answering Point and the City Dispatch Center.
 
Naperville has 26 telecommunicators and four supervisors.
