Public Meeting to be Held on Naperville Downtown 2030 Survey

On Wednesday, January 26, 2011 the City of Naperville will host a public meeting to provide an overview of the background, purpose and methodology of the Naperville Downtown 2030 survey. The meeting will begin with a presentation at 4 p.m. in Meeting Rooms B and C of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street. Representatives from the City of Naperville, Naper Settlement, the Downtown Advisory Commission (DAC), and the surveyors from Granacki Historic Consultants will be available following the presentation to answer questions and accept comments from the public.

In 2010, the City of Naperville contracted with Granacki Historic Consultants to conduct an architectural survey of 53 selected buildings in the city's downtown commercial areas as identified in the Downtown Architectural Survey Map. The 53 buildings were selected with assistance from the Naperville Heritage Society based on their potential historic significance and architectural integrity.
