GOP Candidates to Answer Questions at Upcoming Forums in Aurora

 

Voters will have the opportunity to ask questions of area Republican candidates when the Aurora Republican Women’s organization hosts a series of forums in February.

The first of two forums will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Eola Community Center, 555 S. Eola Road in Aurora.

Candidates invited to participate include Bob Gibson, Brian McKillip and Pat O’Shea, DuPage Circuit Judge; Dick Furstenau, Patty Gustin, James Healy, Tonia Khouri, Paul Santucci, Ed Young and John Zediker, DuPage County Board District 5; Charlie Schneider, Carl Schultz and Mary Lou Wehrli, DuPage County Forest Preserve District 5; Tom Hartwell, Karin Herwick and Catherine Hurlbut, Kane County Clerk; and Kevin Burns and Chris Lauzen, Kane County Chairman.

Moderating the forums will be Pat Fee, 2nd Vice President of the Illinois Federation of Republican Women. The Aurora Republican Women’s organization had its start in 1923, and represents Republican women in the four counties which comprise Aurora and areas within Aurora Township.
