The Naperville Cultural Center presents Naperville's first annual El Dia de los Muertos celebration on Friday, October 15th at the Naperville Municipal Center.
This event is free and open to the public and serves to celebrate and encourage diversity by teaching about customs and beliefs from other parts of the world. El Dia de los Muertos is one of the largest and most important celebrations for people of Latin American heritage living in the United States.
Activities at the event will include an altar construction demonstration, mask painting workshop, music, traditional Mexican cuisine and more. Naperville's new sister city, Patzcuaro, will also be honored. For more information, visit website below.
