Consider Holiday Donation to DuPage Forest Preserve

You may direct your monetary donation to the District's conservation, education or recreation programs. You may also choose to support a favorite forest preserve or allow the District to determine where your gift is needed most. Gifts of any amount help the District accomplish worthwhile initiatives that benefit visitors and the natural environment.

Larger gifts may leave a lasting legacy through the new Tribute Program. For $500, donors can support the District at the green fund level and have an honoree's name engraved on a brass donor tree in the lobby at District headquarters. Other tribute gift options include native trees, log benches, recycled plastic benches and other features to enhance DuPage County's natural areas. Tree and bench donations include nameplates or markers to honor loved ones or commemorate special events.

All donations are tax deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code. To learn more about donations to the Forest Preserve District, call the Office of Fundraising and Development at 630-933-7097, or visit dupageforest.org and click on "Get Involved" and "Donate."

Established in 1915, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County manages over 25,000 acres of prairies, woodlands and wetlands. Each year, over 3 million visitors enjoy the District's 60 forest preserves, 145 miles of trails, five education centers, and scores of scheduled programs and events.
