With the three full time PR types working for our city you think they could publish the 60 vehicles (age, model and make) so the tax payers could see what toys our city buys and perhaps buy some for their kids.

That's funny Gerard, if you had read the complete story, including the last sentence, you would have found the auction list web link. The list includes make, model, year, title information and mileage. Also, the link is on the city web site.

Your right. Most of these cars look like junk car dogs where did they get them? By the way how many cars, trucks, and toys does Naperville own or lease? How often do they trade them out or buy new 2,3,4 or 5 years? Who is the administration gets a city vehicle the city manager, police chief, fire chief, the mayor what others?

Again, look at the auction list. The city vehicles being sold are listed by what city department, and that they are high mileage or 13 to 14 years old. These are the type of vehicles that cost more to maintain than they are worth.

You seem to know a lot of what is going on try answering the questions. I want to know where the Segways,, Atvs, Humvees and MRPs are and when they will come up for auction or do they get sold to insiders at discounted prices?
mr Questioning September 25, 2013 at 08:03 PM
WOW.... Really??? You do like to bait people into arguements. All of the "stuff" you ask questions about is available either on-line or FOIA. Instead you want to start rumors about inside trading or discounts. If you want to know about vehicles issued out from Homeland Security, ( ie MRAP ) research on-line. They go back to Homeland Security. As for the ONE Hummer that the city owns, go look on-line. The Fire Department uses it for pulling a small boat, an ATV that is owned by MABAS (mutual-aid group), at special events where large fire engines can't easily get into, and small grass fires in the parks or forest preserve areas. I learned that by asking about the vehicle at Last Fling.

I am tired of FOIAing and would rather get it from the sources like you who use phony names, are insiders and are either city employees or paid by the city to trash anybody who asks legitimate questions. The only good government is one whose citizens watch them like hawks, question every thing they do and force them to be transparent in their commercial, financial. legal, sociological, ideological and crony transactions. To do otherwise is to invite the gross abuses that are rampant in the Fed., state and local governments. Even with oversight these people are so arrogant as to steal from the tax payers and dare them to do any thing about it.
mr Questioning September 26, 2013 at 07:32 AM
Yes sir, you got me!!! That monthly SSA check I receive is really a government pay-off. The Federal Government pays me, and the aliens from Area 51, to monitor your every move.
Roy Rumaner September 26, 2013 at 11:13 AM
Gerard, you really are an idiot. Even when someone answers your idiotic question you blather on about how they must be an insider or a city employee. What the hell is wrong with you?
Gerard H Schilling September 26, 2013 at 11:41 AM
Thank you Roy for your constructive criticism now go back to sleep while our government steals all you own and takes away what little freedom you have left.
Roy Rumaner September 26, 2013 at 05:12 PM
As I said, an idiot.
Gerard H Schilling September 26, 2013 at 05:48 PM
Roy your continued personal abusive language does nothing but harden my resolve to point out at every opportunity government’s potential irregularities that people like yourself not only approve but actually encourage for reasons unknown unless you have something to gain by it? You can curse, demean, rant and cast dispersions on my heritage, race, intelligence, education or any other thing you may like but it doesn’t change the issues and certainly doesn’t solve the problems. So go back to sleep until my next posting since you seem to live for the opportunity to again insult me.
Roy Rumaner September 30, 2013 at 11:16 AM
Trust me Gerard I don't "live for the opportunity to again insult you". That would mean I actually care what you say.
