City Starts to Patch Roads; Where Are the Worst Potholes in Naperville?

The polar vortex's departure and arrival of unseasonably warm weather have produced a bumper crop of potholes in the region. Where are the worst ones in Naperville?

Pothole season is coming early due to warmer temperatures melting the snow and ice.

The city of Naperville has started this past week to patch roads affected by potholes after a recent snow followed by rain and coupled with incredible temperature swings have wrecked havoc on area roads, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Potholes form when moisture gets under pavement "and then freezes and expands," and the city of Naperville received handful of calls over the past weekend reporting potholes and expects more calls, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The Chicago Tribune reports the city has started to check out its streets and fill potholes when necessary.
