City Seeks Feedback in 'Extreme Website Makeover' Contest

Residents can vote for the city of Naperville in a web design contest now through Jan. 11.

The city of Naperville wants to know what you'd like to see on its new website.

Recently, Naperville was named as a finalist in the CivicPlus “Extreme Website Makeover 2012” contest. CivicPlus is a company that designs and builds citizen-focused, interactive communication systems using advanced technology and specializes in city and county e-government, according to the city's website.

The winner of the contest will receive a Premium CivicPlus designed website and two years of maintenance fees. The winner will be announced by Jan. 21, according to the city.

This year, citizen participation and involvement is a factor in determining contest winners. To be considered for the grand prize, residents must nominate their community for the prize and show their support for an enhanced website by 5 p.m. on Jan. 11, according to the city.
