City of Naperville Email Up and Running Again

City restores email service and website after a virus attack last month.

All systems are go for the city of Naperville. 

While the city put its website back online Oct. 26 after a virus attack took down both the city's website and email Oct. 2, email service was still down throughout the week. But officials announced Thursday that its email is also now back up and running.

The Citizen Support Center feature on the city’s websiteis now functioning as well. 

Officials are asking that people discontinue using the temporary cityofnaperville@gmail.com address and instead use the Citizen Support Center or city staff email addresses. 

Live meeting streaming remains unavailable and will for the foreseeable future, but residents and interested parties can view video and audio of previous City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission and Transportation Advisory Board meetings and workshops as well as meeting and workshop agendas and packets on the site, according to the city of Naperville.
