Woman's iPad Snatched in Strong-Armed Robbery

Police are investigating an incident in which a woman's Apple shopping bag was stolen from her Monday night in downtown Naperville.

The is seeking information about a strong-armed robbery, which took place in the 100 block of West Jefferson Street at 10:09 p.m. Monday.

A woman reported a man took her bag after she was shopping at the downtown Naperville store. The bag contained a new Apple iPad, valued at $729, which was stolen from her while she was putting her child in her vehicle.

Officers responded to the scene and canvassed the area, but couldn't find a suspect.

Information is important to Crime Stoppers, and all callers may remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in this incident.
