Wisconsin Man Charged with Using Social Media to Threaten North Central College

A 20-year-old Wisconsin man has been charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly threatening North Central College on Facebook.

A Wisconsin man has been charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened North Central College via social media.

Aden D. Khan, 20, was arrested in Madison, Wisconsin Friday after police conducted a search warrant at his home, according to the Naperville Police Department. 

Police said Khan posted "several threatening comments" concerning the safety of students at North Central on Facebook on Tuesday, March 5, according to Naperville police.

After North Central administrators read the post, Naperville police responded to the college. Police were able to determine that the author of the post was not associated with the college and there was no immediate threat to students, according to a police release.

Khan was charged with disorderly conduct, a Class 4 felony.
