Two California Women Charged Friday After Prostitution Bust

Two California women were busted for prostitution Friday after the conducted an investigation into a massage parlor.

Meiying Xu, 49, of Alhambra, Calif. and Siwei Zhang, 40, of Monterey Park, Calif. were arrested and both were charged Friday with violation of the massage licensing act. Xu was also charged with prostitution, according to Naperville Police.

The Naperville Police Department’s Special Operations Group and Intel Unit were investigating suspicions that individuals were engaging in acts of prostitution through a storefront that appeared to be a massage parlor on Naperville’s far south side, according to a news release police issued at 11:09 p.m. Friday.

The suspected prostitutes posted various services on the Internet and agreed to meet their customers at the massage parlor to perform sex acts in return for money, Naperville police said. The women were taken to DuPage County Jail.
