Thief Targets Bon Jovi CDs, Identity Theft: Naperville Police Blotter

Naperville Police Department reports, June 11

Identity theft

William Edward Gipson, 31, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. near 26th and California Avenue, police said. he was charged with identity theft and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Theft

Juwan Theo Allen, 18, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with theft/deception. He posted bond. 

No insurance

Jamil Q. R. Gordon, 18, was arrested at 6:08 p.m. near Sheehan Drive and Leverenz Road, police said. he was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Blake Andrew Peterson, 19, was arrested at 9:08 p.m. near North Columbia Street and School Street, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Possession of cannabis

  • Edwin Perez, 20, was arrested at 9:08 p.m. near North Columbia Street and School Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond.
  • Saben Resser Pallesen, 20, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. near Bauer Road and North Webster Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond.  

Suspended/revoked license

Allen Matthew Roberts, 64, was arrested at 10:09 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Commons Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 

Stolen wallet

  • A wallet was reported stolen in the 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. 
  • A black wallet was stolen from a basketball court at the YMCA at 34 South Washington Street, police said. 
Theft

Maui sunglasses, $5 in change and two Bon Jovi CDs were stolen from a vehicle in the 3500 block of Caine Drive, police said. The vehicle was also keyed and the front leather seat was slashed. 

Vehicle entered

An unlocked vehicle was entered in the 3400 block of Caine Drive, police said. 

Vehicles damaged on Caine Drive

Five vehicles were reported damaged in the 3400 and 3500 block of Caine Drive, police said. 

Bag stolen

A Nike bag was reported stolen in the 1400 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. 

Camera stolen

A camera was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4300 block of Camelot Circle, police said. 

iPhone stolen

An iPhone 5 was reported stolen in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said.
