Street Racing; DUI; Theft: Naperville Police Blotter

Theft

Yasmeen Martinez, 23, of Brookfield, was arrested at 3:23 p.m. at the Naperville Police department, police said. She was charged with theft. She posted bond. 

Battery

James W. Brooks, 63, of Earlville, was arrested at 8:18 a.m. in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery. He posted bond. 

DUI

Daniel Paul Rhoads, 29, of Naperville, was arrested at 2:23 p.m. near Naper Boulevard and Staunton Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs. He posted bond. 

Speeding

Cory Patrick Collins, 20, of Montgomery, was arrested at 11:10 p.m. near West 87th Street and Plainfield Naperville Road, police said. He was charged with speeding 30 miles per hour over the limit. He posted bond.  

Street Racing

Residents reported two juveniles street racing along Bauer Road, police said. 

Vehicle entered

An unlocked Honda Civic was entered but nothing was taken in the 2100 block of sand Island Court, police said. 

Theft

A laptop and cash were stolen from an unlocked truck in the 2100 block of Sand Island Court, police said.
