Aggravated battery

Shar Dzaferi, 36, of Channahon, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. in the 1400 block of Fairway Drive, police said. He was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Retail theft

Renata Didjurgiene, 35, of Joliet, was arrested at 2 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said. She was charged with retail theft. She posted bond. 

Possession of cannabis

Raymond Edward Gockman, 44, of Oswego, was arrested at 4:42 p.m. near Argyll Lane and Scots Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 

No insurance

Timeka Latrice Taylor, 22, of Oswego, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. near Diehl Road and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with no insurance. She posted bond. 

False report

Gregory Scott Adkins, 55, of Sheridan, was arrested at 8 p.m. in the 2700 block of West 75th Street, police said. He was charged with false report of offense and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Speeding more than 30 mph over limit

Eric Taylor Scheblein, 22, of Montgomery, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. near White Eagle Drive and Route 59, police said. He was charged with speeding more than 30 miles over the limit. He posted bond. 

Suspended/revoked license

Natalie Araina Taylor, 32, of Naperville, was arrested at 11:38 p.m. near Naper Boulevard and Stoney Brook Drive, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. She posted bond. 

DUI

Jon Robert Halasz, 34, of Sheridan, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. near Diehl Road and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 

Laptop, cash stolen

A laptop, bag and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2500 block of Dewes Lane, police said. 

Wallet found

A wallet was found in a park in the 100 block of Ring Road, police said.

People typically do 15-20 MPH over the limit on 59 between 75th and 95th. With construction on 59 North of N.Aurora Road, it's going to get worse. Southbound drivers are going to want to make up the time they lost creeping through construction and that will be the stretch to do it.
