Sleeping Burglar; DUI; Battery: Naperville Police Blotter

Naperville Police Department reports, Nov. 1 - 3

Friday, Nov. 1 

Battery

Fernando G. Osornio, 36, of Aurora, was arrested at 6:08 a.m. in the 200 block of James Lane, police said. He was charged with battery. He posted bond. 

DUI

  • Gerald Matthew Humphrey, 22, of Plainfield, was arrested at 5:58 a.m. near Washington Street and East 75th Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 
  • Bryan Charles Long, 27, of Oswego, was arrested at 11:23 p.m. near Chicago Avenue and South Sleight Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 

Sunday, Nov. 2

James Robert Raymond, 28, of Oswego, was arrested at 12:04 a.m. in the 100 block of Testa Drive, police said. He was charged with aggravated battery and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Criminal Trespass 

Robert P. Burnett, 26, of Oswego, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to a building. He posted bond. 

DUI

Melissa Ann Sengenberger, 26, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:22 a.m. near Wehrli Road and Hobson Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 

Warrant

Shade B. Brown, 24, of Oswego, was arrested at 7:54 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged on a warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Window shattered

A Dodge Caravan's window was shattered in the 1000 block of Heritage Hill Drive, police said. 

Mailbox damaged

A mailbox was damaged in the 1400 block of Canyon Run Road, police said. 

Attempted burglary

An attempted burglary was reported in the 2200 block of Waterleaf Court, police said. 

Sleeping burglar

A burglar was found sleeping inside of a car after they entered the unlocked vehicle in the 2200 block of Waterleaf Court, police said.
