Friday, Dec. 16

Criminal damage

Mark Rychlik, 23, of the 2400 block of Haider Avenue, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. in the 2400 block of Haider Avenue, police said. He was charged with criminal damage to a vehicle. His bond was $120.

Driving under the influence

  • Kara Janell Lenard, 27, of the 2300 block of Barkridge Court in Lisle was arrested at 1:55 a.m. in the 800 block of North Washington Street and East Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving without insurance. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Tanee Tynicka Serrano, 31, of the 300 block of Marion Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 1:35 a.m. at the intersection of La Salle Avenue and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, speeding over the limit and failing to signal. Her bail was $3,000. 

Criminal Damage

A 35-year-old woman in the 1500 block of Selby Road reported that six reindeer and a snowman were damaged overnight and thrown around the front yard, police said.

Burglary

A 48-year-old woman in the 2200 block of Arrowhead Drive reported that between 4 and 6 p.m. Thursday someone entered her home and took her wallet from her purse while she was in the basement.

Theft

A 50-year-old woman reported that her driver’s license was taken out of her coat pocket in an unlocked locker in the 1100 block of East Ogden Avenue between Dec. 2 and 3, police said.

Saturday, Dec. 17

Driving under the influence

  • Julio Enrique Perez, 24, of the 100 block of Edgewood Drive in Streamwood, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Route 59 and Brookdale Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance, improper lane use and disobeying a traffic control signal. His bail was $3,000.
  • Ashley Wallace Jasman, 29, of the 100 block of Lake Shore Drive in Oswego, was arrested at 11 p.m. at the intersection of West 75th Street and South Route 59, according to police. She was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, improper parking on a roadway, failing to notify the Secretary of State of an address change, driving without insurance and no valid registration. Her bail was $3,000. She drove off the road into an empty field on the south side of the road, police said.
  • Allan Namion Masangkay, 44, of the 1300 block of Woodchuck Lane, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Mill Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failing to signal. His bond was $100.
  • Michael Anthony Kiely, 66, of the 1100 block of Estes Court, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. at East Chicago and South Charles avenues, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated driving under the influence, speeding and improper lane use. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Patrick Martell Nash, 26, of the 100 block of South Whispering Hills Drive, was arrested at 4:23 a.m. at Quincy and West Ogden avenues, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, expired registration, speeding, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver, driving on a suspended/revoked license and improper lane use. His bail was $3,000.
  • Angelo Mariano Knapp, 23, of the 1100 block of Kings Lane in Joliet, was arrested at 3:14 a.m. at South Route 59 and 95th Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and using unsafe tires. His bail was $3,000. He was driving on three tires and on one rim with sparks shooting out, according to police. 

Warrant arrest

  • David A. Perez, 22, of the 100 block of Tamarack Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. in the 2600 block of South Washington Street and South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant and a traffic control violation. His bail was $8,000.
  • Marcus Alan Penton, 23, of the 100 block of Gregory Street in Aurora, was arrested at 2 p.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Avenue, where he was charged on an original warrant for possession of a controlled substance and theft, police said.

Retail theft

Edward Major Smith, 19, of the 100 block of Gregory Street in Aurora, was arrested at 7:28 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59 where he was charged with retail theft, police said. His bail was $1,500. He stole two PlayStation 3 games valued at $29.96 each, police said.

Possession

Alyssa Loral Jagman, 20, of the 12000 block of Holm Drive in Homer Glen, was arrested at 6:46 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Aurora Road and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving without insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane change without a signal. Her bail was $2,000.

Criminal damage

A 44-year-old woman in the 2400 block of Joyce Lane reported that someone damaged her home between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 10:24 a.m. Saturday by spreading peanut butter and a red substance on the garage and windows, damaging the screens on the windows, police said.

Sunday, Dec. 18

Driving under the influence

  • Jesus Eduardo Betancourt-Martinez, 27, of the 100 block of Hamilton in York, was arrested at 12:19 a.m. at Cantore Road and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated driving under the influence, failing to signal, driving without a license, speeding over the limit and improper lane use. He was taken to the Will County Jail.
  • Ernest Dick, 21, of the 7000 block of Paradise Circle in Plainfield, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. at 75th Street and Oxford Lane, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane use. His bail was $3,000.
  • Randall Edward Haas, 57, of the 10800 block of Book Road, was arrested at 10:09 p.m. at School Street and North Columbia Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, two counts of disobeying a stop sign and crossing the double yellow lines. His bail was $3,000.
  • John Murnane Rowley, 63, of the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue, was arrested at 3:39 a.m. at North Naper Boulevard and Interstate 88, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a traffic control violation.

Criminal trespass

Marta Beata Kaspryzkowska, 54, of the 300 block of North Charles Avenue was arrested at 6:48 a.m. in the 2600 block of West 75th Street where she was charged with criminal trespass to land, police said. Her bond was $120.

Possession

  • Samone Latrese Folmar, 23, of the first block of Testa Drive was arrested at 3:20 a.m. at Waterfall Street and North Aurora Road, police said. She was charged with possession of cannabis and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Zachary Reyna, 21, of the 2000 block of Stephens Street in Aurora, was arrested at 12 a.m. in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, not wearing a seatbelt and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.

Criminal damage

  • A 40-year-old man in the 1900 block of Springside Drive reported that between 1:45 and 2:07 a.m. someone threw a Miller High Life beer can at a window causing the glass to break, police said. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
  • A 50-year-old woman reported her vehicle was keyed between 10 p.m. Saturday and 9:15 a.m. Sunday while parked in the driveway, police said. She suspects her ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend.
  • A 61-year-old man in the first block of North Main Street reported that a metal trellis was pushed over and damaged overnight, police said.
  • A 46-year-old man in the 500 block of Braemer Avenue reported that between Wednesday and Thursday someone pulled out 42 lit candy canes that ran along his driveway. The lights were broken and left broken but the other decorations were not damaged.
  • A 38-year-old woman reported in the 400 block of Bailey Road that a person walked on her car cracking the windshield and denting the roof, police said. 

Theft

A 24-year-old woman in the first block of West Chicago Avenue reported that someone removed her wallet from her purse as it hung on a chair, police said. The wallet contained credit cards cash and miscellaneous items.
