Run-in with North Central Security Leads to Arrests

Two men found smoking cannabis in car on campus.

Two men were arrested Saturday after they had a tussle with North Central College campus security, according to Naperville police.

Jonathan Antony Howard, 22, of the 30 block of N. Brainard Street and Nicholas Joseph Marchese, 22, of the 4200 block of Evergreen Drive, Lisle were arrested at 2:39 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Main Street, police said.

According to Naperville police, Johnson and Marchese were arrested after fighting with North Central College Campus security. The pair ran from the scene after they were caught smoking cannabis in their vehicle on school property, police said.

Howard was charged with battery, battery with intent to do bodily harm, knowingly damaging property and possession of cannabis — less than 2.5 grams. His bail was $1,500.

Marchese was charged with battery, obstructing identification, resisting a peace officer and possession of cannabis — less than 2.5 grams, police said. His bail was $1,500.
