Police Charge Naperville Man with Child Porn, Unauthorized Videotaping

Renzo Barduagni has been charged with unauthorized video-recording and five counts of aggravated child pornography. According to reports, police found video footage of a naked neighbor child and suspect other neighbors might have been taped undressing.

Police said they have charged a Naperville man with five counts of child pornography and unauthorized video recording after a four-month investigation.

Renzo Barduagni, 50, of the 700 block of Violet Circle, was arrested at 11 a.m. Monday at his home, said Naperville Police Sgt. John Westlove.

Police obtained a search warrant after an investigation into child pornography found on Barduagni's home computer, Westlove said. More than 100 videos of children younger than 17 engaging in sexually explicit acts were found by the Naperville Police Department and the High Tech Internet Crimes Unit.

Police said they found video footage of a naked neighbor child and suspect other neighbors might also have been taped undressing in their bedrooms, according to the Daily Herald.

"We did recover a few video recorders that appeared to have video tapes of children being videotaped by this gentleman," Westlove said.

He added that police are still investigating the victim or victims recorded.

Barduagni was charged with five counts of aggravated child pornography, which are Class 2 felonies and unauthorized video recording.

Barduagni was transported to DuPage County Jail and held on 10 percent of 300,000 bail, or $30,000. He has a scheduled court appearance on Nov. 13.

i still dont understand why some people refuse to buy curtains that actually cover the windows and aren't transparent. our neighbor complained about our side light on our house being to bright. we told them to buy some real curtains, not that sheer crap. end of story.

YES the "legal" system certainly should be revised !! there is NO WAY he should be allowed out EVER !!! and you are probably correct that he has made bail and is out on the streets again, i have seen bail set higher on stealing food from jewels.... What is this world coming to ? GOD BLESS AMERICA ! and keep the poor children safe !
