Prostution Sting Sends Four Behind Bars

Naperville police arrested four out-of-towners Friday night after an undercover officer responded to an online prostitution advertisement.

Naperville police arrested four people Friday evening after an undercover prostitution sting at a hotel on the northwest side of the city.

Detectives with the department conducted a one-day investigation in the 1600 block of North Route 59 after responding to an online advertisement, said Naperville Police Cmndr. Mike Anders.

Around 5:35 p.m., Corrine Terrell, 22, of Chicago, met an undercover officer at the location and agreed to perform sexual intercourse with him, Anders said. She was then arrested and charged with prostitution.

Krystal C. Means, 20, of Milwaukee, Wis., also was arrested at the scene. Anders said she violated a city ordinance by advertising an unlawful business in Naperville.

"She knowingly advertised for an erotic massage without having a massage license," he said, noting that the charge in Means' file of disorderly conduct is inaccurate.

Javohnn McCant, 18, of Chicago, was simultaneously arrested and charged with obstructing identification after Anders said she gave police a false birthdate.

Brian K. Weidel, 42, of the first block of East 57th Street in Hinsdale, also was found in the area. He was arrested and charged with pimping.

"People think pimping means he was wearing a fur coat and telling people where to go," Anders said. "But pimping is that you receive money, basically, from prostitution."

Weidel received a payment from Terrell for gasoline, "knowing the U.S. currency to pay for the gas was earned through prostitution," Anders said.

Information about where the four were in relation to each other was unavailable Monday, but police said they were found in the same block of North Route 59.

"Other than that, they were all together, I don't know how these girls or guys knew each other," Anders said. "I don't know if they were all buddies before … or if they've been in business."
