Prosecutors: Woman Left Child in Car While She Solicited Cop

Kristine Juline indicted this week in connection to August incident outside a home improvement store.

A West Chicago woman accused of offering to perform a sex act on a police officer for $120 did so while a child sat unattended in a parking lot, court documents show.

A grand jury on Tuesday indicted 28-year-old Kristine Juline in connection to the outside Home Depot. She is free on bond after a judge recently reduced the amount needed to be released from DuPage County Jail. arrested her on charges of prostitution, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.

Juline returns to court Oct. 6, when she is expected to be arraigned. She is seeking to be placed in the county's drug court.

According to court records, Juline left the female child "unattended in her vehicle in the front parking lot ... while (Juline) went to the rear of the (store) to engage in an act of prostitution."

Prosecutors allege Juline told the undercover officer she would perform oral sex for the money. Police also found heroin and a marijuana pipe on Juline at the time of her arrest.

Juline has a 2005 conviction for possession of a controlled substance, for which she was sentenced to one year in prison with jail credit that accounted for most of that sentence.
