Porta-Potty Arson Stinks to Crimestoppers, Reward Offered for Information

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in an arson incident early Thursday.

A foul fire early Thursday was the work of one or more arsonists and the Naperville Police are seeking information in the incident.

Thursday morning, someone decided to set a Porta-Potty ablaze, burning it to the ground, according to the Naperville Police Department. Now, Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.

The and Police departments were called to May Watts Elementary School, 800 S. Whispering Hills Drive, at 5:58 a.m. Thursday. It was determined a Porta-Potty was set on fire and burned to the ground, according to the . The estimated loss was $1,000.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, has information related to the fire or those involved is asked to call Naperville Crimestoppers at 630-420-6006. All callers may remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
