Police Seek Downtown Naperville Hit-and-Run Driver

Police are looking for a driver involved in a downtown Naperville hit and run Monday evening. 

According to police, a woman driving a red four-door hatchback hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Washington and Jefferson in downtown Naperville at 5:02 p.m. Monday.

The driver is described as a white female between 17 and 21 years old with shoulder-length curly brown hair, according to police.  

Police said that the driver was the only person in the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Naperville Police Department at 630-420-6006. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification of the driver.

Not surprised by this considering the number of people who cross against the light at this intersection and Chicago & Washington. I'll bet if you could zoom in a little closer you'd see the driver with a phone stuck in her ear and no idea what just happened. I'm guessing both parties here weren't paying attention but of course the driver is going to take the heat.
