Naperville police arrested a 17-year-old high school student Tuesday.

arrested a local high school student who they say battered a teacher Tuesday morning.

Cardierre A. Robinson, 17, of the 24700 block of Champion Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, according to the police report.

When a student strikes a teacher, the offense is automatically escalated to a felony, Bell noted. Robinson faces one count of aggravated battery of a school employee.
