Police: No Charges After Benedictine Sex Assault Investigation

Officials decided there was "insufficient evidence" to pursue charges in the case, according to a brief statement.

No one will be charged in the reported Sept. 15 sexual assaults at Benedictine University due to "insufficient evidence," officials said in a brief statement Tuesday.

Lisle police investigated reports that two females were sexually assaulted in a Benedictine dorm. The DuPage County State's Attorney's Office did a thorough review of the police reports, and decided there was not enough evidence to pursue criminal charges, according to the statement.
