A 71-year-old Naperville man who was killed Wednesday afternoon in an accident on Interstate 55 has been identified as Vernon H. Joy Jr.
He was taken to a nearby hospital following the crash at 2:30 p.m. where he was pronounced dead, according to the article. The Daily Herald reports medical staff said a medical condition could have contributed to the crash.
