Police: Christmas Robber Stikes Same Gas Station Again

Suspect matched description of man who robbed same Mobil on Christmas morning at gunpoint, police said.

Police said a man suspected of holding up a Naperville gas station on Christmas morning robbed the same gas station again early Wednesday morning. 

A man entered Mobil gas station at 1304 Naperville/Plainfield Rd. around 5 a.m. Wednesday and demanded money from the cash register, according to the Naperville Police Department.

The gas station clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the man left the store.

The clerk told police the suspect matched the description of a man who robbed the same gas station at gun point on Christmas morning around 3 a.m., police said.

The offender was described as a black male between 35- and 40-years-old, approximately 5’10” and 230-250 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, freckles on his nose and cheeks and a slight mustache, according to the report.

While the suspect who robbed the gas station on Christmas was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, he was not armed on Wednesday, police said. 

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the offender is asked to contact Naperville Crime Stoppers at 630-420-6006. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for the information that leads to an arrest in this incident.
