Oswego Police: Car Hits Building on Route 34

Incident happened at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Some thought the crumpled up looking car in the Bounce Town parking lot was an advertisement for a new body repair shop.

Not quite so, although the vehicle could certainly use one.

A Jeep Liberty headed east on Route 34 took a dive off the side of the road at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, according to an Oswego Police report.

The driver was transported to Rush-Copley Medical Center with injuries. According to a Rush-Copley spokeswoman, the driver has been treated and released.

Special thanks to Bounce Town for the photo.

He went up the curb to the left on the eastbound side then shot all the way across over the westbound side not even braking then hit the building and the car flipped over.

Thank goodness no one but the driver was injured. Would be interesting to know if driver's blood alcohol was verified.
