Police Boosting Patrol in Downtown Naperville on Black Wednesday

It might be a popular night to go out and grab a drink before Thanksgiving, but police are warning those in downtown Naperville to be responsible on Black Wednesday. 

Naperville police will be boosting patrols throughout downtown Naperville Wednesday night in an effort to curb alcohol-related offenses, according to police.

"The mission of the downtown detail is to address any and all liquor related concerns, disorderly conduct investigations, public urination, pedestrian/vehicle traffic issues and crimes against persons," according to a news release.

Police will also be increasing the number of bar inspections on Wednesday night as well.
