Police Blotter: Warrants, Resisting an Officer, Criminal Trespass

Naperville Police Department reports for July 22-24.

Friday, July 22

Suspended license

April Ann Mills, 30, of the 500 block of Vine Street, Greenville, was arrested at 6:51 p.m. in the 1700 block of W. Ogden Avenue and Feldott Lane, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and operating an uninsured vehicle. Her bail was set at $2,000.

Roberto C. Alaniz, 26, of the 2300 block of S. 59th Court, Cicero, was arrested at 6:51 a.m. in the 1600 block of Frontenac and Diehl roads, police said. He was charged with two warrants and driving on a suspended/revoked license. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Driving without a license

Willan A. Rodriguez, 28, of the 4400 block of N. Drake Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 1:26 a.m. in the 500 block of 75th Street and Wehrli Road where he was charged with obstructing identification, improper lane use and driving without a license, according to police. His bail was set at $1,500.

Kristina Keria Magana, 19, of the 2600 block of Bull Run Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 6:03 p.m. in the 1500 block of N. Naper Boulevard where she was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Her bail was set at $1,500.

Criminal trespass

Cuauhtemoc A. Velazquez, 23, of the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, Woodridge, was arrested at 3:52 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he was charged with two counts of criminal trespass to a vehicle, police said. Bail information not provided.

Miguel Velazquez-Diaz, 26, of the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, Woodridge, was arrested at 3:52 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Abraham T. Zaragoza, 27, of the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, Woodridge, was arrested at 3:27 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he was charged with two counts of criminal trespass to a vehicle, police said. No bail information was provided.

False police report

Ali Ahmed Ansari, 35, of the 11000 block of S. Belmont Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:21 p.m. at his home where he was charged with making a false police report, police said. His bond was set at $120.

Warrant arrest

Ryan Schiller Taylor, 33, of the 20 block of W502 Nancy Court was arrested at 6:35 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he was charged with an original warrant and battery and aggravated battery, police said. His bail was set at $10,000.

Burglary

A resident reported that a money clip with $150, car keys and $3 from a purse were stolen from a home overnight in the 1000 block of Langley Circle, police said. It was also reported that someone may have tried to enter a vehicle parked in the driveway.

A resident in the 2100 block of Countryside Circle reported that his satellite radio was stolen from his vehicle between July 18 at 12:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Friday, police said.

A resident in the 2100 block of Westwind Court reported that between 8 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday an unlocked vehicle was entered and a radar detector was stolen.

Vandalism

A vandal in the 1300 block of N. Mill Street used a propane torch to scorch metal decking on a playhouse and also wrote graffiti in blue marker that said “I love fire” and the word “arson” between 3 p.m. Thursday and 1:15 p.m. Friday, police said.

A trailer was painted blue and red while parked on Gartner Road near Pecan Court it was reported at 3:14 p.m., police said.

Theft

A thief stole a bottle of Jägermeister, brats and buns from a store in the 3100 block of 111th Street at about 8:35 p.m., police said.

Tuesday, July 23

Warrant arrest

Michael Deont’E Bradley, 18, of the 2300 block of Club House Avenue was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 2600 block of S. California Avenue, Chicago, and was charged on an original warrant for criminal trespass to land, resisting a peace officer and aggravated battery, according to police. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Stefan John Chamula, 46, of the 2400 block of Oneida Lane was arrested at 10:31 p.m. at his home and charged with five warrants, and four felonies including two counts of resisting a peace officer and two counts of aggravated battery, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Maranda Deline Morgan, 24, of the 6800 block of Throop, Chicago, was arrested at 5:02 p.m. at LaSalle Avenue and N. Route 59 where she was charged on a warrant from Cook County for a probation violation and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Adaneli Martinez-Martinez, 26, of the 1000 block of Heritage Hill Drive, was arrested at 7:31 a.m. at her home and charged with a warrant. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail, police said.

 

Resisting an officer

Theresa Chwastek, 48, of the 2400 block of Oneida Lane was arrested at 10:29 p.m. at her home and she was charged with resisting a peace officer and obstructing justice, police said. Her bail was set at $1,500.

Travis Kyle Cambridge, 30, of the 1700 block of Fuller Drive, Gulf Breeze, Fla. was arrested at 6:29 p.m. in the 10 block of W. Jefferson Avenue where he was charged with battery, resisting a peace officer and criminal trespass, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Criminal trespass

Mason Charles Cambridge, 32, of the 400 block of Cherry Street, Crescent, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. in the 10 block of W. Jefferson Avenue for criminal trespass, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Driving without a license

Frank Aca Xochitecatl, 27, of the 4300 block of Bayhead Court, Aurora, was arrested at 4:02 p.m. at Ferry Road and Raymond Drive where he was charged with driving without a license and failure to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions, according to police. No bail information was provided.

Theft

Morgan Katherine Rodriguez, 18, of the 100 block of N. Sleight Street, was arrested at 10:17 p.m. at S. Washington Street and W. Chicago Avenue where she was charged with theft, police said. Her bail was set at $1,500.

Sunday, July 24

Warrant arrest

Evelyn D. Martin, 19, of the 0 block of Spyglass Court, was arrested at 4:47 a.m. in the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive where she was charged with two warrants, police said. She called police to unlock her vehicle and a check revealed she had warrants from DuPage and Kendall counties for drug equipment and traffic offenses. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Israel Diaz, 35, of the 600 block of Plymouth Court, Oswego, was arrested at 2:09 a.m. at S. Main Street and Jackson Avenue where he was charged with a warrant, police said. His bond was $150.

Resisting an officer

Michael Anthony Grant, 24, of the 100 block of Mayfield Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. in the 70 block of E. Chicago Avenue where he was charged with knowingly damaging property and resisting a peace officer, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Daniel Patrick Hodgman, 21, of the 700 block of S. Julian Street, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. in the 0 block of W. Jefferson Avenue where he was charged with criminal trespass and resisting an officer, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Driving under the influence

Carrie Ann Mruk, 36, of the 200 block of Lincolnshire Lane, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:38 a.m. at Royce Road and S. Washington Street where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a stop sign and improper lane use, police said. Her bail was set at $3,000.
