Police Blotter: Warrants, Possession of a Controlled Substance

Naperville Police Department reports, Jan. 16

Monday, Jan. 16 

Robbery

  • Cory Michael Paytes, 22, of the first block of Eastfield Road in Montgomery, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. at Valley Drive and Chalet Road, police said. He was charged with robbery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Travis Jonathan Gamble, 22, of the first block of Anna Maria Lane in Oswego, was arrested at 10:26 p.m. at Valley Drive and Chalet Road, police said. He was charged with robbery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. 

Possession

Winston Paul Gillett, 43, of the 5S200 block of Stewart Drive, was arrested at 10:49 p.m. in the 1400 block of Fairway Drive, police said. He was charged with speeding, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance and on a failure to appear warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. 

Warrant arrest

  • Ignacio Flores, 25, of the 300 block of Weatherford Circle, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. at Montgomery Road and South Route 59, police said. He was charged on an outstanding warrant and with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.
  • Jason Ryan Feddick, 34, of the 200 block of Meribel Court in Schaumburg, was arrested at 3:48 p.m. at Leverenz Road and South Route 59, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant and with driving without a license. His bail was $1,555, police said.
  • William R. Miller, 30, of the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive was arrested at 8:04 a.m. at his home, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. His bond was $100.

Uninsured

Cynthia Anne Lozano, 26, of the 100 block of Braxton Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. at West Ogden Avenue and Rickert Drive, police said. She was charged with failing to give aid or inform, failing to reduce speed, driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance. Her bond was $200. 

Illegal possession of alcohol

A 19-year-old was cited with possession of alcohol at 12:28 a.m. at Emerson and Lexington lanes, police said.

Criminal defacement

Someone wrote an indiscernible word in marker on a control box at Martin Avenue and Washington Street, police said. Another box at Modaff and West Gartner roads was also defaced. Police also said it was reported that four different spots on the west side of the VanBuren parking deck were spray-painted in black with indiscernible words and markings.

Darien

Wednesday, Jan. 4

False identification

Avery D. Rollins, 42, of the 1000 block of Preserve in Naperville, was arrested around 11:20 a.m. on the 8700 block of Lemont Road, police said. Officers said Rollins gave them a fake name when they pulled him over in connection with speeding. He had two outstanding warrants—one in Cook and one in DuPage county—related to failing to appear in court, according to the report. Police charged Rollins with driving with a suspended license, obstructing an officer, an in-state warrant, speeding and failure to signal. A court date for the Darien charges is pending.
