Naperville Police Department reports, May 1
Driving under the influence
- Police said Michael Christopher Morrone, 21, of the 2700 block of McClennan Court, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. in the 1900 block of Gowdey Road and North Route 59. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding over the limit and failing to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions.
- Joyce Evelyn Atkin, 31, of the 1700 block of College Lane South, Wheaton, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. at 7th Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, driving without insurance, not wearing a seatbelt and speeding. Her bail was $3,000.
Suspended license
Michael James Jackson, 31, of the 1300 block of Middlebury Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. at Fort Hill Drive and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and speeding over the limit. His bail was $1,500.
Warrant arrest
- Synovia Lashaun Spain, 21, of the 1100 block of Birchdale Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Avenue, police said. She was charged on a failure to appear warrant from DuPage County. Her bail was $5,000.
- Kevin Edward Brennan, 41, of the 1700 block of Smokey Court, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. at 26th and California, Chicago, police said. He was charged on an original warrant for battery with intent to do bodily harm. His bail was $5,000.
Retail theft
Police said Danielle Marie Zimmerman, 24, of the 2 South 600 block of Route 59, Warrenville, was arrested at Whole Foods, 2607 W. 75th St. She was charged with retail theft. Her bail was $1,500.
Possession
Tyler Michael Barkdoll, 18, of the 1300 block of North Washington Street, was arrested at 2:33 p.m., police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.

Unlicensed
James Joseph Dean, 47, of the 1400 block of U.S. Hwy 45, Enfield, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. at East Ogden Avenue and North Columbia Street, police said. He was charged with driving without a license and a C/R/S/ registration violation. His bail was $1,500.
Burglary
Someone in the first block of Center Street reported that between April 18 at noon and April 25 at 10:30 a.m. five Playstation 3 video games and a console controller were stolen from inside a church, police said.
