Police Blotter: Tires Slashed, DUI, Retail Theft, Trespassing

Trespassing

Gary Jeat Coyote, 18, of the 100 block of Testa drive, was arrested at 3:34 p.m. in the 400 block of North River Road, said. He was charged with criminal trespassing and two failure-to-appear warrants. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Retail theft

Saeed Razfar, 59, of the 1500 block of Derby Court, was arrested at 9:04 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft.

Driving under the influence

Michael James Urban, 34, of the 1200 block of Chalet Road, was arrested at 3:52 a.m. in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Mailbox mischief continues

A resident reported that a mailbox was ripped off its post and left in the middle of her driveway in the 1500 block of Saranell Avenue on Sunday night, police said.

Planter theft

Someone took a black concrete urn containing a small evergreen plant from the front of a store in the 100 block of Jackson Avenue on Monday night, police said.

Tires slashed 

An 18-year-old man reported that his two passenger-side tires were slashed while parked in the Van Buren Avenue parking deck, police said.

Property damage

A 44-year-old man reported that his patio door was shattered by an unknown object at 7 p.m. in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive, police said.
