Police Blotter: Thief Gets 3D, DUI, Retail Theft Arrests

Naperville Police Department reports, Dec. 20

Warrant arrest

Brittany Krystal Dhuse, 24, of the 0-99 block of North Union Street, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Aurora Avenue, Naperville Police Department said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.

  • Valerie Beck, 58, of the 100 block of Gregory Street, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with retail theft and violation of bail bond. She was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Matthew Joel Contreras, 21, of the 100 block of South Rosedale in Aurora, was arrested at 9:38 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bail was $1,500.
  • Alan Carrillo, 20, of the 800 block of Shagbark Lane in North Aurora, was arrested at 9:38 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bail was $1,500.

Forgery

Rashaud Laquin Harris, 20, of the 600 block of Grand Avenue, was arrested at 7 p.m. in the 37W 700 block of Route 38, police said. He was charged with forgery and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Driving under the influence

  • Michael Alejandro Bolling, 22, of the 3400 block of North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, was arrested at  1:03 a.m. near Washington and North Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000. 
  • Matthew Ian Kaczkowski, 23, of the 5500 block of Elinor Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested at 1:39 a.m. near Modaff and 75th Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failure to give a signal. His bail was $3,000. 

Suspended/revoked license

Carl William Huddleston, 62, of the 2500 block of Red Hawk Ridge Drive in Aurora, was arrested at 6:06 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and North Mill Street, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bond was $150. 

Thief gets 3D

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a pair of plastic 3D movie glasses in the 2300 block of Hartford Court, police said.

Graffiti

Someone wrote the word "TRIX" in red spray paint on the tunnel wall leading to the south side of the Metra train station in the 100 block of 4th Avenue, police said. 

Burglary from vehicle

  • Someone threw a large rock through a front passenger window of a vehicle. Upon entry into the car, a pair of sunglasses and approximately $12 were taken in the 2700 block of Alyssa Drive, police said. 
  • A burglary to a vehicle was reported in the 2600 block of Haddassah Drive, police said.
