Driving without valid license, unlawful use of a license

Police said Valentin Guerrero-Franco, 31, of the 20 block of North Julian Street, was arrested at 4:10 a.m. in the 700 block of North Aurora Road and Enterprise Court and charged with unlawful use of a license, permit and obstruction identification. He was in possession of an unlawfully altered California drivers license, police said. Bail was set at $1,500.

Carlos Alfredo Deluna-Trinidad, 21, of the 20 block of North Julian Street, was arrested in the 700 block of North Aurora Road and Enterprise Court and charged with speeding over the statutory limit and driving without a valid license, according to police. Bail was set at $1,500.

Christina Yu, 22, of the 200 block of Carlisle in Westmont was arrested at Ranchview Drive and 75th Street, police said. She was charged with driving without a license. Bail was set at $1,500.

Unlocked vehicles entered

At 1:38 a.m. a 33-year-old female in the 1500 block of Chat Court reported that a teenager was in her car while parked in the driveway, according to police. She said he left on foot and took nothing from the vehicle.

A 54-year-old woman in the 0 block of Bluebird Lane reported at 2:57 a.m. that someone entered an unlocked vehicle, but nothing was taken, police said.

A 50-year-old man reported at 3:11 a.m. in the 1500 block of Clyde Drive that someone entered an unlocked vehicle but nothing was taken, police said.

A 55-year-old man reported that sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of Chat Court an iPad was taken from his unlocked vehicle overnight, police said.

Between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 7:27 a.m Tuesday a 48-year-old man reported in the 3600 block of Caine Drive that a rear window and windshield were smashed on a Honda pilot parked in the driveway overnight.

Sometime between 8 p.m Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday a 40-year-old man in the 400 block of Verbena court reported that his Titleist golf clubs, two tailor-made woods and an exotic hybrid 4 iron in a Naperville Country Club golf bag with his name on it were stolen from the trunk of his unlocked vehicle overnight, according to police.

Theft

At 9:15 a.m. Tuesday a 37-year-old woman in the 100 block of East Chicago Avenue reported that her backpack containing $120 and miscellaneous items was stolen while she left her backpack to go to the bathroom, police said.

A 28-year-old man reported that at 3 p.m. Monday in 1700 block of Quincy Avenue his cell phone and wallet were stolen from a job site

A 26-year-old woman reported that Monday at 2 p.m. her wallet was taken out of her purse by an unknown thief who was helping her move, police said.

Sometime between 4:45 and 5:10 p.m. in 1200 block of East Chicago Avenue a 42-year-old woman reported she left her purse in shopping cart after loading groceries into her car, police said. She drove home and discovered her purse missing. The woman returned to Butera where she learned someone returned her credit card, but not her purse.

Suspicious incidents

A 46-year-old woman in the 3800 block of Littlestone Court reported that between 3 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Tuesday there have been mischievous incidents at her residence she believes to be the work of neighborhood youths, police said.

Someone in the 1500 block of Raymond Drive reported damage near a door lock. The incident was noticed Monday at 9 p.m., police said.

Between 9 a.m. Friday and 5:15 p.m. Tuesday a 72-year-old man in the 700 block of West 5th Avenue reported that a vandal subject dumped approximately 10 five-gallon buckets filled with oil behind the building, police said.
