Police Blotter: Theft of Outgoing Mail; Forgery

Forgery

Lakeisha L. Comer-Johnson, 21, of the 9000 South Ashland Avenue in Chicago, was arrested around 2:15 a.m. at the Cook County Jail, 3015 S. California Ave. Chicago, on an original warrant out of DuPage county, police said. She was charged with credit card fraud and forgery. Her bail was set at $10,000.

Misusing a credit card

Jamaica R. Payton, 31, of the 1800 block of Downing Court in , was arrested around 9:40 a.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Ave., on an original warrant out of DuPage County, police said. She was charged with two counts of misusing a credit card, police said. Her bail was set at $5,000.

Warrant arrest

Desiree Jimenez, 18, of the 700 Inland Circle in , was arrested around 8 a.m. at her home on a failure-to-appear warrant out of DuPage County, police said. Her bail was set at $9,000.

Retail theft

Sharmila Chandraprakash, 32, of the 2100 Horncastle Lane in , was arrested around 11 a.m.at Caputo's Fresh Market, 3115 111th St., and charged with retail theft, police said. Her bail was set at $120.

Theft of outgoing mail

Police said a 42-year-old man, of the 2600 block of Hoddam Road in , reported that someone stole outgoing mail from his mailbox. He reported that it was taken around 4 a.m.
